The new test specification RSS-247 on May 28, 2015 announcement on the same day with immediate effect. RSS-247 to replace the RSS-210 Annex 8 and Annex 9, applicable to the product, use FHSS, DTS and U-NII devices in radio 902 ~ 928MHz, 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands.

For this new test specification of import of their transition, the following:

• In the RSS-247 before the announcement, RSS-210 CB certificates issued, need no update action.
• If the test has been completed report is based on RSS-210 regulations, and CB certificate released later in RSS-247 announcement, the certificate shall be RSS-247 issue the new regulations.
• IC RSS-247 after the official announcement, there will be a three-month transition period the old and new regulations, meaning that RSS-210 test reports are accepted until 8/28/2015. After 8/28/2015, IC will only accept test reports in line with the RSS-247.
• In addition to the after 8/28/2015, IC RSS-210 version still accepted test reports issued during the year, but need to make up for all the requirements of RSS-247 test items.
