Adapter Argentina released a new official to replace the existing resolution 508/2015 92/98

Argentine officials have recently released a new resolution 508/2015, this resolution will replace the existing resolution and enforce resolution 92/98 on 23 November 2015.

Among its product range as well as the conditions for exemption are unchanged.

Note: The certificates issued before November 23 this year, does not need to be canceled, local customers in Argentina and is the importer of the certificate holder, purchase entry will not be affected.

The following are the new resolution contains the certification process have major impact:

• S certification mark can only be awarded to a local address in the Argentine legal entities. The company is in Argentina foreign applicants can not be the certificate holder.
• The new certification process required to complete type tests in accordance with local requirements. Existing authentication mode (reducing test mode) in the future "it will" no longer be accepted.
• S logo certification standards certificate must comply with the corresponding local IRAM standards. If this product category without proper IRAM standards apply, before taking into account applicable IEC standards (eg IEC 60950-1, IEC 60065, IEC 60335-1, IEC60601 etc.)
• The certificate holder must be a local importer / representatives / applicant. In addition the Government of Argentina will be more stringent requirements on the local market and the implementation of monitoring and sampling tests, each comprising sampling tests will require more samples and so on.
