From the U.S. Energy Star "highest energy efficiency" (Most Efficient) approved plans to launch a success,
the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).Has announced the renewal of the plan until the end of
2013. The highest energy efficiency program aims to identify and promote the market the most energy-
efficient products.When the products meet the highest energy efficiency standards, the term "energy-
efficient" is not sufficient to distinguish the product, the manufacturer can use the Energy Star logo modified
(See below), in order to attract the attention of consumers. EPA said: the people's acceptance of the
"highest energy efficiency" (Most Efficient) signs are beginning to attract the attention of a growing number
of retailers and manufacturers.
The end of 2012, the EPA announced the final approved standard for the highest energy efficiency "of
more than 10 kinds of products category of the 2013 Energy Star. These products include:Washing
machines, refrigerators, air-source heat pumps, central air conditioning, boilers, stoves, geothermal
heat pumps, televisions, computer monitors, ventilation fans,ceiling fans and windows.Relative to the
minimum energy performance standards(MEPS) of the federal Department of Energy (DOE), the highest
energy efficiency standards will save 20-60% ranging from energy costs, the lowest 19% and 20% of
the boilers and stoves, high 60% of the ceiling fan, the fan 50%, 40% ofthe TV.
