Japan to be implemented to prevent mercury pollution bill
Japanese Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Japanese Ministry of Environment (MoE) proposed bill to prevent mercury pollution of the environment, to ensure compliance with the contents of the Minamata Convention, to further prevent mercury pollution of the environment and human health.
This bill sets than Minamata Convention (Minamata Convention on Mercury) requirements deprecated earlier deadline date (phase-out dates), the provisions of the manufacturer, importer or exporter after the date on deprecated shall manufacture, import or export row Appendix a to the Convention particular portion of the first mercury-added products. Details are as follows:

Effective Date
Although the relevant decree was in January 2016 announcement, but must wait until the entry into force of the Minamata Convention (must be at least 50 Member States to sign consent) after the entry into force.
